Monarch Crest Trail runs along the mountain ridges from Monarch Pass. The picture is too nice not to post, but it tells no story beyond what a beautiful day it was.
Solar
A solar powered light illuminates the rest stop at Eagle Canyon in Utah. Self-sustaining fixtures make the place feel remote, despite being directly off of I-70.
Still Life
I needed a break from traveling so I found the most squiggly road on the map and drove up it. Somewhere in norther New Mexico At the end was nothing but a gate to a field but the view coming back down was worth the detour. I didn’t notice the deer until editing.
