Spring always brings new flowers, in this case an unusually dark purple Hepatica with a bright yellow wasp to complement it’s color.
These calves were curious how the bright colored objects that appeared on the fence tasted. They finally gave up after a lot of squeeky licking.

This image was supposed to be for modeling reference, but caught my eye while looking through my photo library.
This is a photo from Cape Horn on the north side of the Columbia River gorge, which affords a great view up the river to the east. There is a rail line that runs along the river below.
I can’t resist sharing another spring picture that I found. The warming weather is making me excited for this type of subjects again.
I’ve been looking forward to this time of year again with all of its bright colors and fresh smells. I have some winter pictures to post here but the colors here made me want to finish this one first.
This was taken in Rocky Mountain National Park Colorado. It was a chilly July day with a strong wind and spotty cloud cover. Beautiful weather and scenery to match!
